Coverage levels

Scroll's Nationwide Economic and Tax Reporting System (NETRS) reports on transaction volume and sales tax collected across four levels:

• City — local economic activity and sales tax insights
• County — regional economic reporting across cities
• State — statewide sales volume and revenue monitoring
• Country — national economic indicators and compliance analytics

What you'll see

• Transaction volume and sales tax collected, broken down by jurisdiction
• Economic activity you can drill down from the national level all the way to an individual business
• Reporting period summaries with date range filters

Merchants view

The Merchants tab lets you look up individual businesses and see their reported transaction activity directly, rather than only aggregated jurisdiction totals.

Where the data comes from

Figures are powered by verified transaction data from point-of-sale systems used by participating businesses — not self-reported filings, so they reflect real-time activity.
