Merchant Registry

Government · Dashboards

What it's for

Your other government dashboards aggregate activity up to the city, county, or state level. The Merchant Registry is the opposite view: a single table listing every business reporting transactions in your jurisdiction, so you can look at one merchant directly — for example, to check a specific business's reported revenue for an audit, or to see which merchants are driving the most activity in a given period — without working backward from a total.

Reading the table

Each row shows one merchant's:

  • Name and Location (city, state)
  • Transactions — total transaction count for the selected period
  • Revenue — total reported revenue for the period
  • Tax — total tax collected for the period

The header shows how many registered businesses are included and which jurisdiction you're viewing.

Setting the period

The date range picker at the top controls the whole table — it defaults to the last 365 days so you see a full year of activity on first load, and every row updates to whatever range you set.

Searching and sorting

  • Type into the Search merchant box to filter the list down to names matching what you type — useful when you already know which business you're looking for.
  • Use Sort by revenue or Sort by count to rank the list either by total revenue or total transaction count for the selected period, highest first.

Search and sort both apply instantly, without reloading the page, so you can switch between "who's #1 by revenue" and "who's #1 by transaction count" for the same date range in a couple of clicks.
