What it is
The Wallet tab shows a personal member code (a scannable code, similar to a store loyalty card). A participating business can scan it at checkout to match the sale to your account, instead of you reading out your email or phone number.
Using it
- Sign in and go to the Wallet tab.
- Show the code on your screen to the cashier at checkout.
- Your purchase is matched to your account and shows up under Transactions shortly after — see Digital Receipts.
Notifications
The Wallet tab also has an option to turn on push notifications, so you can get notified about things like new promotions or loyalty rewards without checking the app.
Not required
Scanning your member code is just a convenience — giving the business the email or phone number on your Scroll account works the same way for matching a purchase to your account.
